The North American Auto Show Opens To Public

AutoshowlogoThe press has received their exclusive passes over the past week, but now it is the public’s first chance to check out the North American International Auto Show. Finally open to the public during the weekends between Jan. 11-14, promoters at the show are ready to compare their rides in order to beat out the competition whether it be in performance, style or efficiency.

The new Ford Fusion has gotten a complete overhaul that attempts to make the car more attractive to the automotive sports scene. It has many similarities to the Nascar version of the car racing this year which Ford believes will bring more racing enthusiasts to their brand.

“I think it is good marketing, however I find that Ford is geared towards a family audience and to me, the fusion always seemed like a family car,” senior Charlie Douglas said.

Ford is not the only one changing their design for 2016. Fiat has rolled out a new minivan intending to appeal to consumers that are looking for a smaller version of the original style of their minivan. Also, Lexus has revealed their new convertible prototype named the LC 500 Sport that just made its first debut on Monday. To be released in spring of 2017, automotive sport fans will be surprised by a more creative style and a price tag under $100,000.
