October Marquez, a senior, is in their third year with The Chariot. They originally joined the newspaper to make friends and learn more about a different type of writing, but grew to love the people involved and the subject. Their favorite article they’ve written is “The Substitute Teacher and Bus Driver Shortage” for the nature of the topic and how it helped them further develop their passion for writing articles. They tend to spend their time playing video games, reading and having fun with friends. They enjoy adventurous activities outdoors and are always up for a new challenge, wherever it may lead.
