Grace Haugk, Staff Reporter
Grace Haugk, a junior, is a first year staff reporter for The Chariot. Their interest in joining newspaper stemmed from their love for writing in general and their attendance at the Washington Journalism & Media Conference at George Mason University in July 2022. At WJMC, they met a plethora of famous journalists and reporters who inspired them to pursue journalism in the future. In their free time, they like obsessing over Heartstopper, Greek mythology, and Red White & Royal Blue. Come see them run cross country and track, do poetry slams with the Writers' League, and perform in the school plays and musicals.
Ainsley Giorio, Public Relations Editor
Ainsley Giorio, a junior, is excited to start her second year at The Chariot. Last year, she was a staff reporter and this year, she is thrilled to be a Co-Public Relations Editor. Ainsley joined The Chariot to write about issues she is passionate about and to find a new outlet for her writing. A few of her favorite stories include, “What Are They Feeding Us?” and “Counting Calories Isn’t Nutritious Or Delicious." Outside of writing exhilarating stories for the Chariot, Ainsley is on the cross country team and loves to run. The majority of Ainsley's free time is spent watching reality TV. She will take any and all reality TV recommendations. Some of her favorites are Selling Sunset, The Ultimatum, and The Kardashians. When she’s not binge-watching, Ainsley is likely out buying clothes. Ainsley has a crippling shopping addiction, and she spends all of her money fueling it.
